Taxation demystified

When we refer to taxation, we’re talking about the taxes collected by the different levels of government on income or consumption, used to finance their activities.

However, everyone should be aware that there are ways to reduce the amounts owing by carefully planning transactions or actions that are to be carried out in the short, medium or long term.

Our firm puts its experience to work for you to minimize your tax burden related to the different transactions that you make (daily or for business) and those for businesses you operate or start.

Taxation services

Our firm specializes in the application of tax law (income tax and payroll deductions) for all areas of tax liability, such as:

  • Tax and estate planning;
  • Tax credits for scientific research and experimental development;
  • Business startups;
  • Investments in Canada;
  • Asset protection;
  • Major real estate transactions;
  • Wealth management;
  • Tax shelters;
  • Income trusts;
  • Company reorganizations.

We can also help you with many other problems, thanks to our network of providers and collaborators, including:

  • Consumption taxes and duties;
  • Legal implications of a transaction that has or might be made; and
  • Certification of financial statements.
